Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our services, booking process, and healthcare approach.

What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance providers including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and many more. For specific coverage questions, please contact our billing department at (801) 768-8182 or bring your insurance card during your visit. We also offer affordable self-pay options for uninsured patients.
How do I book an appointment online?
Booking is simple! Click the "Book Appointment" button anywhere on our website, fill out the appointment form with your details, select your preferred service and time slot, and submit. You'll receive instant confirmation via email and SMS. Alternatively, you can call us directly at (801) 768-8182 during business hours.
Are online doctor consultations as effective as in-person visits?
Absolutely! Our telehealth platform uses HIPAA-compliant video technology enabling thorough virtual examinations. Studies show that over 76% of common conditions can be effectively diagnosed and treated remotely. Our physicians can prescribe medications, order lab tests, and provide referrals when needed. For physical examinations requiring hands-on assessment, we'll schedule an in-person follow-up.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your initial visit includes a comprehensive health history review, vital signs assessment, discussion of your health concerns and goals, and a physical examination if needed. Please bring a valid ID, insurance card, list of current medications, and any relevant medical records. Plan for approximately 45-60 minutes for new patient appointments to ensure thorough evaluation.
Do you offer emergency services?
While we're not an emergency room, we do offer urgent same-day appointments for non-life-threatening conditions such as infections, minor injuries, flu symptoms, and acute illnesses. For true medical emergencies (chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms), please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room immediately. Our 24/7 telehealth line can help determine the appropriate level of care.
Is my medical information kept confidential?
Absolutely. Patient privacy is paramount at Life Health Hubs. We strictly comply with HIPAA regulations and employ advanced encryption for all digital records. Your medical information is only shared with authorized healthcare providers directly involved in your care. We never sell or share patient data with third parties without explicit written consent.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that schedules change. We offer free cancellations up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a $50 fee. No-shows will be charged the full appointment cost. To cancel or reschedule, simply call our office, use our online portal, or reply to your confirmation email.
Do you have specialists on-site or do you refer out?
We maintain a network of highly qualified specialists across various fields including cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more. Some specialists see patients at our facilities, while others operate at affiliated locations. When specialty care is needed, our care coordinators handle referrals, appointment scheduling, and ensure seamless communication between providers for integrated treatment.
